RBH/Untitled (cancelled/unreleased)
RBH/Untitled was intended on being an 8 part high end television animation series, that was cancelled due to the bankruptcy of the parent company Bron.
At the time of cancellation no final shots had been produced, and only previz, mocap, and proof of concepts were in development
Described as Zootopia meets Game of Thrones, the project was aimed at a teenager+ age bracket
I was initially working as a Lead Character artist at the start of the project, to help develop the look and workflow.
This position then evolved into a Character Supervisor role as additional projects were started at Bron and I become more involved with the creative and creative and visual development side of the projects.
Responsibilities:
· Lead a team of 3D artists to create a cast of 30+ unique stylized characters, plus crowds
· Character Supervisor utilizing Unreal Engine from previz to final
· 3D Modeled, Sculpted and Textured numerous characters
· Collaborated with artists to produce character based assets and props
· Created blendshapes and facial expressions for a variety of characters
· Cooperated closely with production/art directors to translate 2D concepts into viable 3D designs for animation
· Provided art direction and paintovers/reviews on a daily basis
· Created visual look targets and bibles for multiple projects
· Engaged with rigging and animation, developing workflows for high performance animation
· Collaborate with CG/VFX Sups + hods + pipeline team to help develop tools and real time workflows for film/tv/game
· Completed R&D tasks optimizing a film/tv workflow to perform inside of Unreal Engine
· Helped provide assets which were optimized to run inside of the Fortnite game requirements for an addional side project
